With over eight years' experience training yoga teachers, It's Yoga Cincinnati is proud of our outstanding reputation for producing top-quality creative teachers who live and love the yoga lifestyle. Our teacher graduates are highly regarded, teaching all levels of yoga at studios and gyms around the world.
Unlike many training programs that are limited to teaching one style of yoga, our program offers training in several complementary styles, focusing on Ashtanga, vinyasa and hatha yoga. This balanced perspective gives our graduates a well-rounded foundation that enables them to teach to any fitness level.
Our training program is designed, directed and taught by master teacher Indubala Bhardwaj. Indu has 35 years of yoga experience. Her background also includes professional ballet and classical Indian dance. For 22 years she studied Sanskrit, philosophy and Vedic texts directly with her guru, the Indian scholar and Pandit Yogi Raj Sharma, Shastri.
Our 200-hour program focuses on alignment, anatomy, kinesiology, Sanskrit terminology and pronunciation, Yoga Sutra, pranayama, meditation and living the yoga lifestyle. Students gain valuable practical experience and confidence by assisting and teaching in our school while training.
Our 500-hour professional program emphasizes advanced studies in Ayurvedic principles, the Bhagavad Gita, teaching methodology, postural alignment, physical postural adjustments, pranayama/meditation techniques, introduction to Sanskrit, yoga therapy, and senior yoga.
This program will challenge you, change you. You will go to your edge and face your fears. In the end, you will find your breath, your voice, and ultimately your true self.
