Since opening in 1997, Yoga House has become one of the premier facilities for yoga in Southern California. Although the largest studio in Pasadena, our studio has a "small town" feeling—warm, friendly and inclusive. Housed in a beautiful, vintage 1920s brick building, our three fully-equipped classrooms are spacious and serene, with high ceilings and hardwood floors. After class, students can enjoy complimentary tea and apples in our comfortable lobby, which is always graced with fresh flowers.
With over 80 classes a week taught by a supportive and experienced staff of over 30 instructors, Yoga House offers an eclectic mix of levels and styles, from beginning to advanced, including hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Yin Yoga. Other specialized classes include gentle yoga, restoratives, meditation, prenatal and postnatal, yoga for kids, "Mommy & Me," and "Challenging Conditions" for students with multiple sclerosis, as well as a free weekly class for students living with HIV. Our yearly calendar of special workshops features renowned yoga instructors from across the globe, including such yoga luminaries as Gary Kraftsow, Kofi Busia, Paul Grilley, Julie Gudmestad and Tias Little.
The first class is free for Los Angeles-area residents. Thereafter, Yoga House offers a wide range of payment options, from single, drop-in classes to yearly memberships. Special discounted community classes are also available.
Our shop carries a wide variety of yoga props, books, DVDs, music, clothing, jewelry and more.
